McIvor's First EVER Drive-In Theatre!!

I know you've all been waiting for it ... and the day has finally come. Youth is starting up again for the year and we are hitting it off with our first ever drive-in theatre!!

This Thursday, September 11th, the show will start at 7:00pm and be over by 9:45pm.


You'll want to remember to bring a lawn chair and dress for the weather because we'll be outside! So bring warm clothes!

Call your friends! Invite them all! And we'll see you Thursday!

Fun Mountain Today!

Yes, fun mountain is on!

Make sure to bring your sunscreen as well as maybe a sweater for the morning because it's a little chilly outside. But it's going to warm up and we're going to have a great day! If you're bringing friends, make sure their parents come with them to sign permission forms at the church.

Thanks to all of those who showed up at church for breakfast last week. We had an awesome time with you at Perkins and we hope you had a good time too :). And for those of you who couldn't make it, don't worry ... there's another event to come .... it's going to be great .... wait for it ....

Sunday, August 24th is Junior High Beach Day at Fun Mountain!!!!

Here is the information that you need to know:

• We are meeting at the church on August 24th at 10:30am and pick up is at 5:00pm back at the church.
• You need to call Shauna at the church (339-1691) to let her know that you are coming before Wednesday, August 20th.
  

What you have to bring:

• $15.00
  
• bathing suit
• towel
• lunch
• 3 bottles of water
• sunscreen
• your permission form signed by your parent/guardian

If you have any questions, you can post on this blog and someone will get back to you, or you can call or email Andrew or Carmyn. If you don't have their phone numbers, call the church (339-1691) and ask for Shauna because she is our new awesome fantastic youth pastor and she'll be able to help you out :).

Beach Day Canceled :(

Hello everyone!

Unfortunately, as a result of the cloudy skies, cool weather and rain, beach day sadly is being canceled.

However, if you are still looking for something to do this morning, we will meet at the church at 10:30 and go out for breakfast to Smitty's or Perkins with anyone who is interested :). Bring the $10 that you were going to bring for beach day, and make sure your parents stop to talk to us at the church so we can let them know what time to pick you up.

Sunday, July 20th is Beach Day!
We're going to meet at the church at 10:30am, and pick up is at 6:00pm back at the church.

Here's a list of stuff you have to bring:

• $10.00 (for transportation)
• bathing suit
• towel
• lunch
• 3 bottles of water
• sunscreen
• your permission form signed by your parent/guardian

What you have to do before July 16th:

• Call Andrew Plett and let him know that you're coming so we can save you a seat. There are limited spots so let him know as soon as possible.
